How to Make a Screensaver With Flash Movie

make screen saverFlash movies are dynamic and exciting media with both personalization and animation. Instantstorm software makes converting a flash movie into a screensaver a snap. The software gives you the ability to make dynamic flash movies and save them as screensavers in minutes and for free.

Step 1:
Download Instantstorm software at the Instantstorm website for free. Donations are taken but not required. Install Instantstorm onto your computer. Follow the directions as they pop up during the installation process. Click "I Agree" on the terms and conditions page.

Step 2:
Open Instantstorm. Click on the desktop icon or find Instantstorm in the program files to start the program.

Step 3:
Type the name of the flash movie or the name you want to give the screensaver in the box provided.

Step 4:
Click "Browse" to look for your flash movie. Once the movie is located, click "Open."

Step 5:
Preview the move in the box at the bottom of the screen to ensure you chose the correct file.

Step 6:
Click the "Files" tab to add any required files you want to play with the movie, such a music files. Click "Add" when you have found the files. Click "OK" to continue.

Step 7:
Go to the "Publishing" tab and click "Create." Open your document's file and locate an .EXE file with the name you specified. Click on the file. This installs the file. It is now available in the screensaver section on your desktop.
